Maayan Salom is the Co-Founder & CEO of Elementary, where she leads the company’s growth, sales, and marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on developer relations and go-to-market strategy. She is responsible for aligning product development with business objectives.With a deep background in data ecosystems, Maayan has expertise in analytics, data engineering, and security research. Before founding Elementary, she led large teams of analysts and researchers, developing new tools and data infrastructure for security research. She has extensive experience with SQL, Python, dbt, database systems, data tools, and computer networks.As a Y Combinator alum, Maayan played a key role in building Elementary’s open-source dbt package, which serves as an SDK integrated directly into users' data pipelines. She continues to contribute to product strategy while leveraging her strong communication and public speaking skills to advocate for data observability and quality across the industry.
